Everyone can recognize Leonardo DiVinci's painting, the “Mona Lisa” from her iconic smile, but here, artist BNS strips Mona of her chaste demeanor and gives her one badass new look. Mona is seen rocking a red bandanna over her mouth, her skin and the background is made from vintage newspapers that preach about oppression issues women faced from over 60 years ago. Bright yellow, purple and red paint and graffiti style lettering balance on either side of Mona's face, which has a “5 Mile” tattoo above her right brow. One tattoo wouldn't be enough for this rebel, she has the words “Stay Gold” inked across her chest. The bottom right corner of the piece is a faint renaissance style figure, it could possibly be DiVinci himself, he is covering his eyes from Mona's newfound grunge look.
