Born in 1980 in Ottawa, Canada, Camilla D’Errico is an illustrator, painter and prolific visual artist famous for introducing the new ‘Melting Pop’ style. D’Errico graduated in Illustration and Design from Capilano College, Vancouver.

D’Errico started drawing comic books in 2001, and since then she has collaborated with renowned companies such as The Walt Disney Company, Ride Snowboards, Hasbro Toys, OSO Design House, to name a few. In 2006, she began focusing on oil painting, developing a unique style highly inspired by Manga and Japanese Pop culture. D'Errico melts rainbows, colourful and dreamy worlds with her unique and hyper-chromatic ‘Helmet Girls’, characterised by oversized and soulful eyes and the most improbable hairstyles. The girls stare at the viewer with overwhelming intensity, communicating both awareness of being watched and their innocent feelings of sadness, wonder, as well as contemplation and introspection. In addition to her candy-coloured characters, animals are also another focal point of her paintings: they create fantastic worlds where emotional forces explode as melting colours, referencing the Asian pop art.

D’Errico also contributes to the vinyl art toy movement, and has expanded her style into fashion, accessories, toys and other merchandise. Camilla D’Errico currently lives and works in Vancouver, Canada, and her work has been extensively exhibited in Canada, the US, Germany, Italy, and for the first time in the UK with Dorothy Circus Gallery.
