“Bala” means bullet in spanish, “balar” means to “bleat”, like bleating sheep. “Balar” may also refer to the verb “shoot” and when shooting a sound is heard. While rolling along the floor, the movement of a metal sphere inside an abandoned church is more than present, like a cannonball causing a noise that spreads throughout the space, bleating in its own way, unfolding the impossible and absurd situation. It is in this cinematic moment that the object becomes subject, autonomous, emancipated and separated from any external dependence, a short journey to question its existence, a short talk with the emptiness of space.
