First chapter from video series “The myth of resistance”, which explores the realm of dreams as an extra
dimension where systems of faith are constituted and the capacity to observe is stretched. The main quest,
attempts to measure the elasticity in the concept of [resistance] in its physical and metaphysical form. In a
fictional frame, this first part is composed by several stories and events that seem to be attributed to an
omnipresent narrator, mirroring its existence. From the magic of sleep to time travelling, from sacred rituals
to geometry, and from science to mythology, this figure-like chameleon is the vehicle to travel beyond these
fields. The plurality of this character is echoed under the name of Agrippa, which can have multiple
references. In some cases, its a name of a person, a Greek philosopher, an astronomer or a crater on the
moon. In other cases, its used to denote abnormality, for example when a child was born upside down, with
its feet first instead of its head, this name was commonly given. This metaphoric outline is combined with
the notion of an amaurosis, indicating a loss of sight, a type of visual darkness –blindness without any
physical damage.
