Carlos Colín, ‘Tlalocman’, 2014, Fazakas Gallery

Tlalocman is a song played by a Mexican rock band that mocks The Beatles in the 60s called Los Tepetatles. The drawing represents Tlalocman, a man who during the day is a bank teller and by night he becomes Tlalocman. This mask is a representation of Tlaloc based in the Codex Ríos. Tlaloc is the God of Rain and in Nahuatl means: Nectar of the earth.
