This uncommon silkscreen from the late 1960s is entitled "Ceres", the Greek goddess of agriculture and abundance. In 1967 Gray also created a series of gestural abstract paintings with the same title. This work was de-accessioned from the Readers Digest of America art collection, that at one time was one of the premier corporate art collections in America. The work has not been examined outside of its original frame but appears to be in very good condition.
