Bold, modulated colour brushstrokes showcases formal composition in a new and refreshing light. Hughes has been known for his wonderful nude drawings and paintings for many years. Hughes graduated from the New York Academy of Art (MFA, 1995) and received the Elizabeth Greenshields Award for Figurative Art in 1991 and 1995.
