Darren Waterston’s series of watercolors – “Pavo” – features motifs used in his recent museum show “Filthy Lucre”, which is a reimagining of James McNeill Whistler's masterpiece of interior decorative art, The Peacock Room. That show originated at Mass MoCA and is traveling to the Freer/Sackler galleries at the Smithsonian and the Brooklyn Museum.
