Abstract, cubist inspired drawing on paper in vintage wood frame with linen lining detail.
15 x 18 inches framed
10.5 x 13.5 inches unframed.

Series
This black & white graphite work on paper was inspired by the bottle still lifes of Giorgio Morandi. The work is drawn in an abstracted cubist style where the artist drew continuous lines in the shapes of bottles, creating a shard effect. Through the continuous layering of the graphite pencil the artist makes interesting organic shapes within the bottles, further abstracting them. The two bottles are reflected and contrasted onto darker bottom portion where the background is heavily layered with graphite. The artist fit the original drawing to a vintage wood frame measuring 15 x 18 inches which compliments a mid-century modern aesthetic. The frame exhibits some wear consistent with age, which is an intentional decision made by the artist.
