About David Vestal

New York School photographer David Vestal captures poetic, atmospheric urban scenes. Shooting in all kinds of weather, day and night, and often from unusual angles, Vestal has spent most of his career focusing on New York City. His photographs vividly reveal the many textures of the city, from the play of sun and shadow on its streets, to the rhythmic angles of its fire escapes, to the bodies of human beings framed by the hard edges of its architecture.
