A fascination for the historical displaying of china, goblets and tea sets in cabinets, led to ‘Composition’. De Intuïtiefabriek created a contemporary china cabinet complemented with a twelve-piece tableware set. The simple and geometric shape of the cabinet enhances the compositions that are hand-drawn on the tableware by Bob Waardenburg.

About De Intuïtiefabriek
Amsterdam-based design studio De Intuïtiefabriek (“The Intuition Factory”) began after Amba Molly, Carolina Wilcke, Eefiene Bolhuis, and Eva Gevaert graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2009. The four young women realized they shared opinions about material and design practice and launched their first project in 2010—a cityscape of tableware. Since then, they’ve made everything from colored medicine cabinets to writing desks to glazed dishes. De Intuitïefabriek describes their own work as “pure, precise and almost fragile feeling.”
