From the artist: "I live on an island in an ocean environment. Ocean water defines our island’s dynamic boundaries, provides food for our freezers, and sustains our industries and our lifestyles. It is the most familiar visual feature of my local surroundings and therefore dominates my thoughts and sights; I see water from every window of my home. 'Water, Water, Everywhere….' is a stylized representations of water, celebrating the intellectual and visual complexity of this life-sustaining liquid.

Mixed-media pictorial imagery was applied to hand-formed metal panels that are fitted into a fabricated wire-frame structure. “Water, Water, Everywhere….” has 9 panels. Small, prong-like elements hold the panels into the framework from the back. The pictorial imagery is created through a combination of techniques beginning with a computer-generated and laser-printed image followed by a heat-transfer process to apply the transparent image to the metal, the application of additional fine art media and many, many layers of sealer. The resulting panels are much like miniature paintings."
