Donna D'Aquino, ‘Necklace with Two Sterling Silver and Red Charms’, 2014, The Gallery at Reinstein|Ross

This Charm Necklace with Two Red Charms is part of the Artist's ongoing exploration of the drawn line. She uses wire in place of charcoal or pencil to create three-dimensional drawings for the body and wall. The work is inspired by interior and exterior architectural structures. In the past, this body of work was completely devoid of color, predominantly made of sterling silver, in recent years, she has started to add color by powder coating the sterling silver structures.

The two charms are sterling silver on top with the red powder coated section beginning with the middle loops. The charms hang from a perfectly round silver sterling 16" cable torque with a tube clasp.
