For over thirty years, Doug Hall has pursued a photographic investigation into human experience and perception, and cultural understanding of place. From the gilded Baroque of photograph, to austere institutions and reflection ponds, Hall presents visually arresting tableaux that coerce his audience into critical thinking. Hall is represented in the public collections of the Kunsthaus, Zurich; The Tate Museum, London; and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago.
