Erdem Taşdelen, ‘I Wish Too To Be Absorbed’, 2010, Galeri NON

In this sculptural installation, the sentence "I WISH TOO TO BE ABSORBED" is arranged in a large concave half-circle that viewers walk into. The materiality of the sentence creates a welcoming space where there is an ambiguous yearning. This wish to be absorbed could be interpreted as absorption in the hands of the lover, or into the multitude.
