Straddling the divide between the realms of commercial and fine art photography, Fabrizio Cestari’s photographs reflect his training in cinematography as well as his experience in advertising. More hyper-real and surreal than realistic, they conjure a pop art–style fantasy world filled with characters that evoke the Barbie dolls and superhero toys he grew up with.
