The City that Has Been Painted II

About Felipe Morozini

A resident of São Paulo, Felipe Morozini takes the city as a subject and source of inspiration for his photographs. Morozini, who was formerly a lawyer, says: “I make a contemporary catalogue of the habits and secrets of the city itself. I don’t care about the individual, only the collective, the whole.” He captures serendipitous and candid moments observed from his balcony, preferring to photograph individuals unaware of his camera. Recurring subjects include sunbathers on balconies and ledges, reflections in windows, and people in conversation. Moronzoni is also a commercial and editorial photographer, as well as a furniture designer and scenographer.
