Félix Bracquemond, ‘Portrait de Meryon’, 1853, Sylvan Cole Gallery

Heliogravure after the etching by Bracquemond.

Bracquemond executed the etching in 1853, but the plate was destroyed after only ten impressions were printed. A heliogravure plate, slightly smaller than the original etched plate, was produced to print the edition.

An excellent impression on fine wove paper.

In perfect condition.
