Francisco Nicolas, ‘Dibujo97d’, 1997, Artgráfico

During 80/90's Francisco's work was inspired on the neoplasticism, but dar away of the cold concept of this, he mixed the coldness of the geometrical abstration with a mild expressionism.
It is a work belonging to a series made in 1997 by the artist, on handmade paper, using an original technique, which consisted in marking with a template, a series of points, which were used as circumference centers, and joining then the different arcs of circumference to create different forms. Once the shape is drawn, the artist applies color using acrylic or collages
