Frankie Alfonso has a distinct and fresh voice in the art world. Alfonso creates masterpieces using lively colors and spontaneous well balanced compositions. His work is best described as a style of automatic writing were he uses simple lines to make complicated arrangements of balance and harmony. His style is a mix of cubism, cartoon art, graffiti and abstract expressionism.

Alfonso is a Cuban-American artist who began drawing at an early age. He first found inspiration in comic books and would sit for hours drawing his favorite super heroes. As a teenager he started to experiment with oils, acrylics and took his passion for art to the canvas.

Alfonso attended art school in Tampa, Florida for one year only and instead preferred to explore Europe for a few years in search of inspiration and his own unique voice in art. Alfonso used his in depth studies of European Masters and created a unique style, expressing his feelings in bold strokes prior to creating the images in his work. His works have been displayed in various galleries in Florida and California.
