‘Lkaayaak yeil s'aaxw (Box of Daylight Raven Hat)’, ca. 1850, Seattle Art Museum

Stylized headdress representing Yehl (Raven) in semi-human form, crouching over the box of daylight with the sun disk between his ears. It is like other dancing headdresses, with a carved central figure, a crown of sea lion whiskers, swan skin and ermine.
