The Broadway production, co-starring Gordon Heath as a returning negro veteran and Jacqueline Andre as his mother, was directed by Elia Kazan, designed by Howard Bay and Emeline Roche, ran at the Fulton Theatre 9/26/45 to 11/16/46, for 477 performances. Jerome replaced Waldron during the run. 15" x 10" illustration board and 7" x 10 1/2" cardstock mounted on larger chipboard, both for the New York Journal American. Includes clippings. 10" x 7" & 6" x 8"images. Good condition.
