Geraldine Neuwirth, ‘Carnival, c. 1990’, ZQ Art Gallery

Geraldine Neuwirth, inspired since childhood by her father’s work in the theater, shapes, lines and color may take center stage, but in Geraldine’s art it is the journey of how one arrives there and not the repetition of a well rehearsed performance. Geraldine's visual shapes are whimsical and come together like notes on a composer's musical sheets. Her constructs allow the process of differentiating shapes and colors that spatially come together to convey pure energy in all its manifestations.
