This desk is designed by Pagano and Montalcini for Palazzo degli Uffici Gualino. This golden green desk is part of a commissioned project for the Gualino offices in Turin and received a lot critical acclaim as Domus devoted an entire issue to the project in 1930. Later it has been seen as one of the first realized examples of Rationalist architecture. The desk is interesting not only for its provenance but for the use of material too, as the desk has been covered with Buxus paper. A material that was new in 1929. The product was manufactured by the Giacomo Bosso factory where the Gualino furniture was also made.
