About Graham Nash

Although best known as the "Nash" of the musical group Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Graham Nash has been engaged with photography since he began developing negatives at home as a child. His passion for the art form led him to amass one of the most important collections of contemporary photographs, which he eventually sold to fund Nash Editions, a pioneer of fine art digital printing. In addition, he is an accomplished photographer in his own right. His personal work consists of intimate portraits of musician friends like Neil Young and Joni Mitchell, as well as observations of transient moments, many captured while on tour. “There really is a kind of insane beauty around us all the time,” Nash has said. “It's just a question of learning to slow down, take a deep breath and meet the moment.”
