Guillaume Castel sculpts his native landscape situated in the Bay of Morlaix in Brittany, France. The sculptor works on organic forms he observed in the wilderness. "Nori" takes its name from a seaweed. The idea is not to reproduce it, but to create a sculpture which contains all the elegance and fragility of Nature. As often in Guillaume Castel's work, the artwork only stands on a quiet balance on its edges. The stainless steel also brings intensity and weight to it.
