This series of two dimensional paper constructions is created by the meticulous layering and bonding of dozens of sheets of archival colored paper, which are then 3-D carved in concave circles to reveal the previously hidden layers of color in the form of contrasting, successive rings. By varying the depth of each carved circle more or less layers of color are revealed, creating different but related interplays of color within the same block.
