Hodaya Louis, ‘Teal Stroke’, 2016, Flat Space Art

Watercolour on paper We are delighted to be the only people that represent Hodaya Louis. Hodaya is a professional artist and fashion illustrator. Winsor & Newton product launch ambassador (2015), Recipient of the title and grant “Distinguished Artist of Israel.” Winner of Next Generation Design Award from the Luxottica group, guest judge and speaker at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she also studied. Her art skills were fostered since childhood by her father, artist David Louis. From 2010 to 2013, as the head designer of an international manufacturing company, her illustrated designs and artworks were presented to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Kenneth Cole Productions, Nine West, Bloomingdale’s, Lord & Taylor, Dillard's, and her original artwork was featured on Bravo’s Real Housewives Of OC. In "Teal Stroke", Hodaya absolutely nails it, she effectively creates what appears to be effortlessly a beautiful woman with an air of confidence using a collection of soft greys, charcoal, pink hues contrasting with a black dress beautifully depicting patterns with a flurry of feminine black feathers. This composed woman sits behind an aquamarine blue wall. Her brown, green eyes speaking a multitude of life thoughts and experiences for such a young woman. Her auburn autumnal hair cushioning her face neatly tied flowing down her back. An inspirational aesthetically beautiful collectable print for any art appreciator.
