About Isabelle Le Minh

Beginning her career as a photographer, Isabelle Le Minh responded to the growing digitization of the craft by expanding her practice to include installations, videos, books, and photographs that explore the meaning and creation of images. “I have tried in my work to arouse speculation on the nature of representation by exploiting this capacity that is characteristic of the medium of photography to make us ceaselessly hesitate between doubt and belief,” she has said. She does this by, among other things, creating an obtuse network of references to the artists, authors, philosophers, and scientists who have influenced her.
