Twentieth-century decorative arts and design enthusiasts, French artist Jacques Ruelland and his wife and creative partner Dani Ruelland created amorphous art objects such as vases, bowls, pitchers, and lamps. Jacques, known for his enamel work, and Dani, for her shapes, together produced some of the most beautifully composed decorative objects of their generation. Focused on experimentation, the Ruellands created diverse forms and shapes using different techniques and materials for production. Their unique porcelain ceramics were greatly influenced by their love of painting, theater, dance, and music.
