About Jan Staller

Jan Staller captures the ephemeral moments of the urban landscape such as a city just after the blizzard, not yet marred by footsteps of the morning commute. Shooting at dusk or dawn enables Staller and his Hasselbad camera to play with light and color, imbuing polluted industrial sites with a surreal and lunar quality. Staller began his career photographing in New York City, and has expanded to capture cities across Europe and Asia.
