Jean-Baptiste Huynh was born in 1966. His refined and timeless photographic style allows him to explore a variety of themes: portraiture, nudes, mineral and plant life, as well as spiritual symbols and artworks. From 2006 to 2012 he conducted a study on light that accompanied the dedicated solo exhibition staged by the Louvre Museum. In 2002, the European House of Photography in Paris, held the "Eyes" exhibition based around his portraits of the greatest international photographers and painters. In 2006, the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris organised a retrospective of his work; and in 2012, the Louvre Museum invited him to present the solo exhibition "Remanence" featuring unpublished images inspired by the museum's collections.
