A painter and illustrator, Jean-Philippe Delhomme has contributed to numerous magazines and ad campaigns internationally since the late 1980s, including Barney's New York, SAAB USA, The Mark Hotel New York, The Good Market. He has also directed animated commercials, penned four novels, and for more than 10 years, he illustrated Glenn O'Brien's famous column, The Style Guy, for GQ USA.
In 2015, he exhibited 30 paintings from an ongoing series, begun serveral years earlier, of urbanscapes insired by New York: Bushwick Landscape at Lucien Terras Inc. Antennas (2016), part of this continuing series of works depicting urban snapshots, captures a night-time scene in the Ridgewood / Bushwich area.
Delhomme has shown internationally at the French Institutes in Berlin and Munich, and FIAF gallery in New York, as well as Museo del Traje, Madrid and the Shiseido and Rocket Gallery in Tokyo.
