The me from yesterday is different from the me of today and tomorrow. I will be yet another person. People repeatedly change and grow through various experiences and learning, although being the same person.
Like a caterpillar that grows and makes its cocoon, after which it breaks free in time to become an adult, this piece reflects my yearning to break free from the state I have been in or to achieve growth by some other form of shedding. I cannot be sure what I will look like after I emerge from the cocoon. This is a present progressive story.
