Flowers blossom along the wall surround a nicely prepared meal waiting for me, but in fact there is nothing actually edible on the table. In the decorated space, what may seem to be enticing at a glance is actually food that isn?t edible, uncooked, such as clam shells, pine cones, starfish, and poisonous mushrooms. They look good and deceptive, but are things that I can neither eat nor have. I painted a slightly open door on the wall and a shaft of light dimly enters through the crack. Another place awaits you on the other side of the door; new possibilities and hope.
