Jewel tones of tanzanite and jade, punctuated with persimmon and prussian blue, typical of this master of still life abstraction. Mostly known for her fondness for the abstracted still life, Jennifer Hornyak draws inspiration from what surrounds her. Hornyak’s paintings reveal sophisticated color mixing, the confidence of a mature painter, and generous textures. Her themes are both intimate and universal.

She studied at the Grimsby School of Art before moving to Canada. Her paintings have been shown in senior galleries and collections in Europe and North America.
