Jeremy Guy has been sculpting for over 20 years. Born in England, he emigrated to Canada several years ago. His work is in many corporate and public collections, including the Hyatt Regency (Maryland), The Ritz-Carlton Hotel (Toronto), The Orchard Residences (Singapore) and the Queen Ethalburga's Sculpture Park in York (U.K.). He produces abstract sculptures on both a residential and a large public scale.
Guy has developed an engineered stone that is crushed marble and/or granite mixed with a resin. A fiberglass armature is covered with the composite which is then sculpted and sanded and polished. The result produces sculptures which have exactly the same look and feel as solid stone although it weighs significantly less.
This work is being produced in an edition of 20. This is 3/20.
