About Jerry Walden

Jerry Walden studies color balance, creating highly dynamic works composed of vibrant geometric patterns. What began as an attempt to repaint old canvases, transformed into Walden’s signature technique in which the artist covers a portion of a canvas in masking tape, and applies randomly selected colors to the remaining areas. After removing the tape, Walden then decides how to readjust his work in order to bring a more curated balance to the canvas.
