The main motif of this lithograph is taken from page 4 of the cover of the book Joan Miro by Jacques Prevert and Georges Ribemont-Dessaignes. This plate was also used for the menu cover of a dinner given by Aimé Maeght at the restaurant Le Pre Catelan on June 19, 1962.
