About Joel Voisard

Joel Voisard, who calls himself a “3D artist,” is known for both his sculpture and industrial design. His work across these fields demonstrates his interest in how objects interact with light, cast shadows, and create reflections. Many of the materials used in Voisard’s pieces are industrial or repurposed vintage objects, such as old stereo parts, furniture frames, and antique upholstery. Voisard has also created a number of public installations at sites such as the Pulaski Bridge and Astoria Park in Queens, New York. His professional experience includes product design for corporate brands like Martha Stewart, K-Mart, Target, Calvin Klein, and Donna Karan.
