Baroness Johana Riegrová is a very well acclaimed artist who has exhibited extensively globally. Riegrová finds the abstraction process of modern art an excellent medium for capturing the essence of places, situations and themes, whereby these are more easily absorbed by the observer via colour or geometric expression. As a direct descendant of founding father of Czechoslovakia, Riegrová is Frantisek Palacky's great granddaughter of whom can be found on Czech currency bills.
Secret Window B is an original where with its beautiful azure blue acrylic on canvas, Riegrová is able to capture the calm mood of the ocean, whereby she aims the capture the environmental landscape that she works in. She believes that artistic expression and the creative process release the energies inherent in colours and shapes, and thus a work of art can act as a source of this energy to the observer, and to a given milieu.
