John Sloan, ‘Henrietta Mayer, White Skin’, 1913, Delaware Art Museum

Mayer was a professional model and the subject of several paintings in 1913. These paintings were in large part color studies for the artist. On the stretcher of this one, he indicated the Maratta color triad of red, yellow-green, and blue.
