Tate Curator José Roca Spotlights Eight Up-and-Coming Latin American Artists
Project made for the Puerto Rico Poli-graphic Triennial (one of the U.S. colonies). Two artificial palm trees were purchased in the U.S. and three thermal printers were placed on them, which constantly pumped out information about Puerto Rico and its relation to the U.S.. The printouts fall and accumulate on the surroundings floor creating the island surface.
