About Justin Mott

A photographer and photojournalistic, Justin Mott originally began studying photojournalism in the United States, but serendipitously discovered his passion for Southeast Asia on a trip. He eventually settled in Vietnam, and his travels are often the basis for his series. The subjects of his photographic essays include views of daily life, religious rituals and spaces, and landscapes. Mott is also a frequent contributor to the New York Times and has won various awards, including the PDN Annual and American Photography 28.
