laura beaumont, ‘Rabbits for the Table’, 2015, Gallery Different

Laura Beaumont works in series. Each piece is unique but she will work on a series of up to 10 sculptures using the same book title. Each piece has a story which is integral to the piece:
At the bottom of a little crooked lane was a cosy little cottage. Its front garden was filled with lilies and sunflowers. The back garden was bursting with plump cabbages and ripe radishes. Every morning Mr Evans would take his young daughter Rosie to the bottom of that garden to feed her rabbits big juicy carrots.
He saw Fluffy, Jumpy and Pippin.

She saw rabbit stew.
