Leah Rosenberg, ‘Opportunities for Growth’, 2016, San Francisco Cinematheque: Benefit Auction 2016

Color is a language to Leah Rosenberg, whose work manifests itself in playful and riotous spectrums of synesthetic expression. Exploration of color and form extend to flavor as well - an accomplished pastry chef, Rosenberg delights in the concept of “palette” vs “palate.” A visual confection, Opportunities for Growth is a gradient of sunny pastels that offset one another and tantalize the eye. Rosenberg’s work has been featured at the Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco; and across her native Canada.
