Leah Yerpe is an American artist living in New York City. Her intricate, photo-realistic graphite and ink drawings depict a person frozen in multiple dynamic poses. By layering and connecting the figures within a blank white space, the artist offers a unique viewpoint into an individual’s conscience focusing on their inner conflict and contemplation. Ultimately, Yerpe captures revelry in the freedom and grace of bodily movement while exploring the potential of the human spirit.—Courtesy of Foster Art Advising
