Artist Lindsay Locatelli hand-sculpts and carves each unique jewelry from polymer clay. After fabrication, she applies various finishing techniques such as paint, carving texture and gold-leafing. This part of her process requires many layers of materials and tedious sanding sessions in between.

Although currently based in Minnesota, the artist spent a large portion of her creative career in New Mexico, whose colors and textures have left an indelible mark on her work.

A beautiful necklace that combines, glass and polymer clay in a structured and thoughtful manner. The glass "beads" can be worn either at the back or at the side. Small delicate silver beads decorate the inside of the polymer "shells". Incredibly lightweight.
