Lindsey White, ‘Lilypad’, 2015, Headlands Center for the Arts: Benefit Auction 2017

From a series of collaborations with LA Comedian, Ron Lynch. Lindsey White (Artist in Residence ‘10, ‘13) works with photography, video, and sculpture. She has exhibited at venues including the Contemporary Jewish Museum, San Francisco; Eli Ridgway, San Francisco; ACME., Los Angeles; Barengasse Museum, Zurich; Aurora Picture Show, Houston; Marylhurst Art Gym, Portland, Oregon; and Deadpan Exchange II Festival, Berlin, among others. She was a 2009 Fellow at the Kala Institute of Art in Berkeley. White’s projects are in the public collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art Library in New York and Portland Art Museum in Oregon. She is also a co-founder of Will Brown, a para-curatorial/artist-run experiment that seeks to expand the models and methods of exhibition-making as a critical practice. Will Brown has realized projects with the Wattis Institute, San Francisco; Kadist Foundation, San Francisco; Ulrich Museum of Art, Wichita, Kansas; di Rosa, Napa; and the Berkeley Museum of Art and Pacific Film Archive. Press from her projects has appeared in The New York Times, Frieze, KQED, Artforum, the San Francisco Chronicle, and Art Practical. White received a BFA from the Pacific Northwest College of Art and an MFA from California College of the Arts.
