Ludo, ‘Flower Engine’, 2013, Julien's Auctions

Executed in March, 2013, on a wall along rue Amelot in the 11th district of Paris near the Magda Danysz gallery.

About Ludo

Parisian street artist Ludo fuses imagery of plants, insects, skulls, and human technology to create “a new order of hybrid organisms.” In protest of modern society’s self-destructive exploitation of nature, Ludo creates figures whose violence and elegance are intended to inspire respect and humility. His monochrome pieces are often identifiable through signature green accents, and their appearances across Europe and the United States serve as a consistent reminder of the artist’s charged statement. Although Ludo prefers working in acrylic, he is known for a vast range of media and techniques.
